Reflection Statement:
This was a group assignment where each group was assigned a Web 2.0 Tool to research and create a wiki page for. My group was assigned Voki. Researching Voki was easy and messing around with it showed us how cool and usable the tool is for education. My group worked well together and communicated well and when it came time for us to present our page in class, each one of us was prepared. This assignment was an introduction to Wikispaces as well as a good assessment of group work ability.
Educational Standards:
"Model collaborative knowledge construction by engaging in learning with students, colleagues, and others in face-to-face and virtual environments"
This standard perfectly fits this assignment. Our group had both in class time to collaborate as well as the ability to communicate outside of class via wikispaces.
